Roma, the wonderful city of great sights -

The Pantheon (the picture does it no justice),

Trevi Fountain,

Vatican City and the Museums (and of course Michelangelo's paintings of the Last Judgement and Genesis).
*
they say that the best coffee can be found in Italy -

we found it at Sant Eustachio, Roma.
*
Roma also had much to offer, foodwise -

mussels and clams spaghetti like you have never tasted before, alfresco dining at a back alley (we call it
zhi char style).

the Baffeto wood oven pizza,

and Mr Baffeto's overwhelming welcome.
*
Milano - incredibly stylish and fashionable, makes people-watching great fun.

just pomodoro and basil, but perfect.

Duomo, with an eerie interior.

clubbing in Milano, of old and new friends (and free food).

now that we are back in Singapore, guess this blog will end its purpose. Singapore takes some getting used to, not the weather though (because Milano was so warm), but not being able to tune out random conversation anymore because we understand the language/accent, standing on the left side of the escalator, realizing that there's a SGD20 note, settling the finances and so on.
otherwise, we're home (to the not so sunny Singapore)!
