took a 2.5 hours bus ride to Brno today, it was a comfortable ride, and we only paid SGD10 each for our tickets. they even screened Friends during the ride, so i was entertained (when i was not sleeping).

upon arrival we went to the cash machine withdrawing money to pay for our bus tickets to Vienna on the 19th. what we did not expect was for the cash machine to eat up dawen's UK HSBC card.

that was an unexpected beginning, but still we got our SGD10 bus tickets to Vienna. we navigated our way on trams and trolley buses to our accommodation...seems like we're the only people here, other than the old folks staying upstairs. dawen tried to pluck some cherries from the tree outside (have you ever seen a cherry tree) but the old auntie told him that they belong to the neighbours.

Brno seems really small, we'll have to look for quite some things to do. and the owner of our accommodation just returned, on a harley davidson motorcycle. time to go talk to him.
