Bring Madeleine Home

am not quite sure how much of this has been featured in the news back home, but Madeleine McCann was abducted in Portugal while her family was on holiday. it has stirred up quite a storm in the UK, and there are posters almost everywhere asking for information about the missing 4 year old (saw on in Newcastle's Eldon Square).

this is possibly the worst thing that can happen to parents, or to a family. she's been missing since 3rd May. personally, i do feel that her parents should not have left the children alone in the rented apartment, but then again, things are done differently in different cultures. and then some friends have also mentioned how the story remains in the headlines because of the parents' connections (they have met the Pope, Gordon Brown has also spoke about them, the video of Madeleine has been played before several soccer matches including the FA Cup final and countless donations made to the fund) but at the end of the day, let's just hope that this tragedy would have a happy ending.

pray for her, keep her in your thoughts. and may she be found soon.
