we missed our train from Granada to Valencia because being the Espanio-idiots we are, we couldn´t quite grasp that whole the daylight savings thing moved all of us an hour forward and we didn´t understand all the notices in Spanish.

so we missed our train, and in a mad dash to the train station, our hostel and the bus station, we landed ourselves on a 10 hour bus ride to Valencia. let´s just say i´d rather not do it again.

and just as we thought our day couldn´t get any worse, we had trouble locating our hostel, and then a place to eat, despite the late Spanish eating habits - almost all the restaurants were closing when we finally set out for dinner.

oh, and it rained in Valencia today, so sight-seeing activities were cancelled. we´re keeping our fingers crossed for the beach tomorrow.

ah, and, we just learnt today that our train ride to Nice from Barcelona might not materialize at all, because the French are planning a strike for that weekend. oh no.

at least all these make things more exciting.
