reading huiyu's blog entry was enlightening to me, its a peek into what i would likely experience about 5 months from now, when i start my honours year back in NUS. i took a good few hours to go through a reading on the Russian peasantry just now and this does not auger well, my academic stamina is failing me. once i return from my month-long Easter break, the deadlines will just keep coming in. so, i decided to start on an assignment due a few days after Easter. even if its just a 2 minutes elevator pitch, i'm going to make it work...before starting on my serious essays.

i didn't do any preparation for my Literature seminar today, and it was an awkward session, because our lecturer just kept waiting for comments and nobody was making any. my bad, given i was so tired out from my weekend trip and i still went out to catch a movie the night before the seminar. it just doesn't feel right, listening and not contributing, given how small the seminar group is. i must get my hands on that Ruskin text by this week.

i saw an unfortunate accident today, well, i saw the aftermath, to be exact. as i was walking to the bus stop to return to my flat, i saw a guy lying motionless on the road - there was an ambulance, a fire engine and several police cars nearby. this lady in a red car was questioned...so i'm guessing that a serious accident had just happened moments before. it was a terrifying sight, to see the guy's ashen face and still body. i sincerely hope, whoever he is, and wherever he is, that he's alive and well.

i'll be moving to my new flat over the weekend, crossing my fingers for nice flatmates.
