i waited for the dear girl to finish her classes. i had to buy a Literature text (which would cost me 7 pounds and i would only use it for two weeks), so i improvised - looking for the poems online and printing them in school. not that its free, but at least its cheaper. anyway Michelia made me take a full-length picture of her. happy, girl? :D

and dinner, whoa, dinner was good. we managed to cook within 30 minutes (yeay). this is tomato omelette, which Michelia accidentally added a whole load of salt into while asking me 'how much salt should i put ah?'. haha.

alright, this might look a bit bland - cabbage with chicken, finally, we found a use for the awful cabbage and it tasted rather delicious. Michelia returned from doing her laundry exclaiming that 'it smells quite good!' i'm pretty proud of myself!

we were so hungry and pleased with our cooking that we finished every morsel (and a small packet of Pringles).

i attended my first Literature class today - High Victorian Prose and Poetry and boy, was it tough. no background in this literary area, and i was struggling to keep with the Professor, with all the references that he was drawing to other Victorian authors/poets. the tutorial's tomorrow and i have a whole load of poems to look through. yipes.

meanwhile, my boyfriend in Southampton had hot and piping nasi bryani catered for dinner. grah. you're going to grow fat...! haha.
