michelia and i tried our hand at carbonara today. we made the sauce from scratch and fried some bacon and mushrooms. it didn't turn out the way we wanted it to (we wanted it really creamy) but it was delicious all the same. we just have to bear in mind to estimate portions correctly, we both couldn't finish our pasta.
broccoli and cucumber in salad cream, because michelia's salad cream is expiring soon. :S
i made an extra portion of salad for myself, i need the extra vitamins goodness from veggies. i cut up half a capsicum, halved some cherry tomatoes, added olive oil, some pepper and salt (courtesy of michelia), and ended up with a really fresh, sweet and crunchy salad. mummy, i'm eating my veggies. :)
