i sent dawen off to Southampton today. poor dude had to endure 6 hours of train ride, with a flat battery on his phone. :S its plain hell to just sit in one place for 6 hours, your book can get boring, the laptop will fail to entertain and your stomach always growls (no matter how much you eat before).

well. i went off to run some errands and ran into michelle at the old library cluster. i was introduced to eric, whom i found very familiar, and turns out that we're actually from the same primary school! i joined michelle and him for lunch, and had a good time exchanging stories about Pei Chun (erik remembered those Chinese history stories that our principal used to talk about great length during assembly, i related how my friend and i were once stopped randomly by the principal to recite a Chinese poem and had to write a particular poem 100 times because we couldn't remember any).

class was, as usual, terribly boring. i expected so much more out of this module. i mean, anything about Enterprise should be exciting, dynamic and creative right? wrong.

we bought a long English sausage from Grainger Market today, attempted to boil half of it and to fry the other half. hrm. didn't go down too well. and then we cooked some Chinese dishes to go along with it. tomorrow we're trying Italian. :D
