i was disappointed when i woke up this morning to yet another rainy day. i'm still hoping to see the sun before i leave for the gloomy weather of Newcastle. i met up with wenrong today, and the girl only left her house at Yishun after our agreed time to meet. bah. and then we were stranded for a while because of the rain - we had only one umbrella to three people, and the problem was solved with wenrong's new baby blue (private joke) umbrella.

my jeans were soaked by the time we got to the Japanese Noodles Restaurant next to OG. but all complaints and grouses about the rain forgotten when the steaming hot char siew ramen arrived.

all wenrong wanted to was to nua. we did just that at TCC, and updated each other on whatever worthy happenings.


well, dawen's happy because we had really good service at TCC, as well as a cute jolly caucasian baby to play with.

dinner was at Turf City with dawen and his family. the food was below expectations, the service was slow, we were sandwiched between two tables of shady people. perhaps ordering the set dinner was a mistake, seeing that the food was not as fresh, nor enough for the menu-claimed 10 people. the butter crabs, which dawen ordered as an additional dish (outside of the set dinner menu) was much better by comparsion.


i did not take pictures of any dishes, partly because one finds it difficult to do so while eating seafood. think oily fingers.

dawen and his nephew, who repeatedly asked me to take photos of him making rabbit ears.

and tomorrow will be good old home cooked food, and lounging with DVDs. :)
