mr chiew, Amoy Street was not forsaken today. i hope this appeases whatever grievances you felt for Amoy Street with my earlier decision to forgo it.

(and please, slow down for weijian!)


luckily, the dental clinic was located at Shenton Way, and this could potentially be dawen's last Singaporean, hawker-centre-goodness food for the next 6 months.


i had really fantastic chin teng today too. my camera phone certainly does not do the chin teng justice, you definitely have to try it for yourself - Zhen Jie's Desserts.

after lunch, we were off to the dentist. i left dawen and his wisdom tooth to the mercy of a certain dr toh while i went around Raffles Place delivering letters and buying Eurail tickets. i returned about an hour later to pick up a very pain-stricken tall giant who could barely talk. zoomed back in a taxi and i made my first attempt at cooking - porridge.

after laughing at his plight the entire day (and how he accidentally snorted at the dental clinic because he couldn't talk), i'm hoping that what they say about karma is not true.
