i start off this post with a picture for paulene: for all the godiva and ben&jerry's, i bet you're missing the tau hway even more. chinese food is still the best. :)


we (my parents, my aunts and priscilla) had lunch at the hawker centre next to Bedok Interchange. reminded of Keith's recommendation and the dinner at Heeren, i decided to give the wanton noodles a try. the fried wanton was delicious, but sadly, the same could not be said about the noodles.


the carrot cake that priscilla ordered. now i've got a craving for black carrot cake.

the rest had porridge and my mom had mutton soup, attempts to warm ourselves on yet another rainy and dreary day. the sun, please? :(

before we had lunch, we prayed to my grandfather at the temple. i used to be a non-believer in matters of ghosts and spirits, but my dream about my grandfather sitting at his favourite spot at Siglap and hearing about my dad's fortunate two dreams made me realize that, my grandfather is looking out for each and every one of us in his own way.
